You are mine..!!

I love poetry... Poetry loves me..
And..!! This is for my love....

I've never imagined that there can be a day.
A day that love will find its way.
Out of my heart and into your soul.
These feelings I have are beyond my control.

All my life I waited patiently.
For a lucky-charm like you, so handsome, so lovely.
Words can't express the way I feel.
These feelings towards you are all for real.

You are the reason why I go on.
Eternity can't separate this special bond.
This heart of mine is reserved for you.
Forever it is yours, this love is true.

There's nothing I could ever say,
And nothing I could do
To let you know just how much
Love is in my heart for you.

I love your smile, your intelligence,
and everything you do.
I thank god faithfully
that he sent you.

Strongly I feel in your arms is where I belong
I've waited for someone like you for so long
Now my heart beats with a happy rhyme
Nowhere in Earth, there Couldn't be a better Valentine

I wont let you down at any cause
My world, my everything, till my time has passed.
I will always love you until the end of time.

MY LOVE, MY SWEETHEART, U R MINE.. :) :)

Light Years Ahead..!!

The burning issue among the people today is, "If computers do the work of humans, what are we going to do?"

We work,  not just for bread, but for dignity and purpose. The automation of labor is nothing less than the great social dilemma of our generation.

For the past century or so, the most reliable path to wealth has been the ability to process information. That’s what got us into the most prestigious universities and jobs, which led to a career at a prestigious firm. Yet, the reason that information processing has been so highly valued is precisely because humans are so bad at it.The fact has to be accepted

It wont be surprising that computers are taking over what we have come to regard as high-level human tasks. We did not evolve to optimize, but to survive and, perhaps most of all, to collaborate with others to ensure our survival. We are, after all, made up of genes, not silicon.

So the answer to our technological dilemma is that the past favored those who could retain and process information efficiently, the future belongs to those who can imagine a better world and work with others to make it happen. Our teamwork makes our dream-work.So let the world team up itself to travel "Light years ahead" together.Since,

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.”

Lonely little lass's longing...!!

The sixteen is indeed sweet,
That made us to meet.
The best vacation I ever had,
Throughout that period,I was glad,
The reason is you my lad....
At the prime we began the conversation as pal,
The facebook chat progressed as mail, sms and call.

.
Our contact went on throughout the day,
My life was going on your way.
Though the sun scorched its heat in that may,
I was damn cool coz in your heart I lay.
You carried me away...

Once you said I had never let my head bend,
Yet I made you to do it at one end.
Perhaps I dint, the difference in our height did,
I held your hand like a small kid..
The most memorable........ a tight hug and our first kiss
In my everyday dream which I never miss

You gave me tons and tons of love, care, passion and pleasure,
My love for you is unbeatable for sure.
No matter how far we may be,
I never mind if your heart beats for me,
Always am  longing for "me" to "we"

CREATIVE LEARNING

Vacations are always special for one. According to me it’s my hibernation period. The period in which I used to sleep for long hours many long hours... Spending the entire night by watching some movies or series and sleeping up to 11 am. I never had breakfast while I was in vacation. All I had was the so called “brunch”.
I was in my semester vacation then. It was a typical hot summer day. The hands of the clock were about to shake themselves. And my hand was randomly changing the remote buttons. In some news channel the saree that the reader was wearing attracted me. So, I paused there to have a look at the design. And then my eyes read the lines that were scrolling. It was about the students who topped the Board exams. I was totally awestruck to see a dozen of students securing the first place and some three hundreds of them grabbing the next two positions. Then the next line came showing that the highest score was 499 out of 500. Out of astonishment I called my mother and showed her the news. She was shocked too. We were discussing about this matter for a while. As she is a teacher, I asked her how it was possible and how did the average score percent grew in such a greater pace within a short span of time? Her reply added fuel to the fire. She said that the syllabus was diluted and also added the students read the texts and produce them as such in their exam papers.
I started to think if it continues there will be no room for the child’s creativity. The children cannot express their thoughts. Exhibition of their views towards the society, their dreams will be curtailed. Their talents will be latent forever. Suddenly, my childhood days came to memories. The days I miss terribly. When I was a school student, we had many activities that kindled our talents and made us to emerge out with flying colors.
Our daily school schedule will start with the Bhajan classes in which we used to sing some devotional songs. This class served for three purposes. The children’s singing will be improved and they will take steps to learn music professionally and shall get well-versed in it at some point of time. The lyrics of the hymns praising the gods and their grace may inspire the Kannadasan or Vairamuthu latent in them. And perhaps the songs will sow the seeds of devotion and faith in god in children’s hearts.
At the end of our English classes, our master used to give a new word. Our task is to find the synonym and antonym of the word given and a sentence has to be framed. There will be a poetry contest every week. The imagination and the thought process of the children will be portrayed. This will be the source of inspiration for the budding Wordsworth and Keats. And similar to many other schools, we too had sports classes to make the body fit. It also motivates the students to win gold for the nation in Olympics. The class monitor will be changed periodically so as to train the students to manage the people. And so the future business magnets will be qualified in management skills.
Thus creativity played a vital part in our school life. It brushed away the stage fear in us. We dint study just the text books. We applied the matter given in our books practically. There were many multimedia classes for Physics that made us to think and explore beyond the blue yonder. Every lesson in the science book was dealt practically in the labs. The answers in our own script relevant to the subject were encouraged. We were not as monotonous as today’s kids are.  The test papers were evaluated only for the understanding of concepts. Not every word in the paper was compared to that of the text book. So, I would like to say,

“The children should be taught how to think and not what to think”

“Learning gives creativity,
Creativity leads to thinking,
Thinking provides you knowledge and
Knowledge makes you great” says Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

Will the institutions that run behind marks and state-ranks understand these words and kindle the thirst for “KNOWLEDGE” in students???

Oh My Brother..!!!

Here is a short poem that I wrote for my brother..

There was a certain period in my life,

When I was deserted & felt like sitting on the verge of a knife.

And then came a man with rocking thunders,

Who stood for me and corrected all my blunders.

I feel blessed to have a brother like you,

And your face is always as that of a early morning dew.

This birthday I promise you a great gift,

To make you happy and let your spirits lift.

I adore you just the way you look up to me,

Our bondage and love is for all to see…

You have given me all that I need.

Happiness is all that I’ve seen in your every deed.

Every time you’ve been there

You’ve let me know how much you care.

Numerous fights, several arguments,

Have only gotten us closer than detachments

Fighting, biting and scratching, our childhood went by,

I will always love you even if you keep making me cry,

In ur eyes I see the care of my father & love of my mother,

If you are with me,I dont want any other,
And I love you a lot my dear brother :)

SCIENCE AND RELIGION

Science and religion are like two sides of a coin.  Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.  Religion is an organised collection of beliefs, cultural systems and universal views that relate humanity to the supernatural and to the spirituality.
It can be seen that science and religion are in opposite camps.  Science deals with the material world that we know; religion is concerned with a divine order that we imagine and faith with devoutly purpose. Science believes in things that can be proved; religion deals with spiritual ideas that cannot be proved. Science depends on reason; religion on faith.  The goal of science is achievement; that of religion is realization. The truths of science can be proved to all; the truths of religion have to be taken on trust.
These two words “Science and Religion” can be considered as antithetical. But it is not so. As the two sides of a coin have a common relation that they are the sides of a coin, science and religion have a common relation that they are for the welfare of humans. The difference between the both is in the way they describe their theories.  Science proves that everything in this universe is created by energy. Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed. The same thing is proved in every religion. Everything in this universe is created by God(a form of energy), wherein God can neither be created or destroyed.
Every religion preaches science. We can quote numerous examples from almost all religions.
For example:
(i) In Hinduism, people are asked to go around the temple premises (pradharshanam).  They are asked to do so because, scientifically it has been proved that walking is the best exercise. As they go around the temple, they will get fresh air and is equivalent to a walk along beach side(as people do these days)
(ii) The homams usually conducted during any holy occasions can also be proved to be of a scientific reason. The holy smoke coming out from the homams are proved to be good medicines for many diseases.
(iii) In the Holy Quran,  it has been emphasized about the importance of bees.  Later in the 20th century we found out that we need Bees to pollenate our flowers and plants in order for the world to work, without the Bees the natural world would get struck.
The purpose of religion is to prove why things happen: why is there something rather than nothing. Whereas the purpose of science is to ask how things came about. Therefore it is impossible for religion and science to ever question one another, unless science or religion attempt to answer beyond their fundamental question..  therefore, science  and religion exists hand in hand and are inseparable.
"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
                                                                                                - (Albert Einstein) "
